Dear Corporate Refugee and Aspiring Entrepreneur:Do you have a longing in your heart:
Maybe you have a vague uneasiness inside, a feeling that there's something more important you're meant to be doing with your life. Perhaps your job is becoming more and more intolerable, leaving you despairing that the corporate world is nonsensical and your role within it meaningless. You probably have trouble dragging yourself out of bed to go to work, but are cheerfully "up and at 'em" on weekends and holidays. When someone asks how it's going at work, you just shrug and sigh... same old, same old. And you know you'll never be able to to live the life you want if something doesn't change.
Hi, I'm Kate Fessler, and I've been where you are. I worked in corporate jobs for years, steadily climbing the ladder, taking on more and more responsibility, and getting regular increases in salary. I was doing pretty well by most people's estimation. But it wasn't enough. I felt like a little piece of my soul was dying each day. I wanted to do something that mattered, work that felt truly purposeful, that I was happy to do all day every day, that made my life better and and did the same for others. But I didn't really know where to start, or if it was even possible! I spent a lot of time (and money) learning everything I could about how the people who were living their lives the way I wanted to got there. I've got some exciting news for you... You don't have to be stuck Many people slog through their days dreaming of a different life, but never taking any action to get what they want. They don't know that it's possible! They've bought into the illusion that this the way we all have to live, and that's just the way it is. They believe that people who are living lives that are joyous and meaningful ~ who love what they do and seem to never have to worry about money ~ are different somehow, that they've been blessed with something the rest of us have not. If you're shaking your head in agreement, you're only partially right. People who are living lives of joy, passion, purpose and prosperity are different in one respect: They think differently. They have what's called a "prosperity consciousness" and they've found the secret to creating a life they love doing work that expresses who they are and their unique gifts and talents. But here's the bigger
secret
